People Exchanges
The 3DLife Network of Excellence proudly promotes a series of people exchanges such as Senior Research Personnel Exchanges, PhD Student Exchanges, Industrial Placement of Research Personnel.
The 3DLife consortium partners have committed to build upon those activities and achieve the establishment of a sustainable European Competence Center: Excellence in Media Computing and Communication (EMC2).
Open Call for Fellowships
Within the scope of EMC2, 3DLife will promote additional collaborative activities such as an Open Call for Fellowships. The EMC2 Fellowship Programme is a funding and support programme for exceptionally qualified researchers in the scientific field of Media Computing and Communication.

Integration Framework
The 3DLife software Framework for Integration is an internal section of 3DLife's web and network presence that aims to enhance the collaboration between the project partners. The framework consists of a wiki server, a subversion repository, and a bug tracking system.

Newsletter
3DLife dissemination actions are focused mainly on the following groups of people: academics, people from industry/business, and the nonspecialist citizen. A variety of Dissemination Material is being constantly developed towards informing those groups, including a biannual newsletter and several types of informational flyers.

Open Call for a Journal Special Issue
3DLife is sponsoring and co-organizing a series of Special Issues in leading scientific journals. Currently it has issued an open call for submissions of high quality research articles for a Special Issue on 'Virtual worlds: where Image Processing meets Computer Graphics' of The Visual Computer: International Journal of Computer Graphics.
